Welcome to Stella Ranch, Bryan's newest master-planned community, where history, family, and community intertwine to create a place you'll be proud to call home. 

This 250-acre development is more than just a neighborhood—it's a living testament to five generations of hard work, dedication, and love.

Stella Ranch is named in honor of Stella Kornegay Cargill, the matriarch of the Cargill family, who first owned and cherished this land along with her husband George. Stella, known affectionately as "Grandmama," was born in Caldwell, Texas, in 1905. She married George Cargill in 1925, and they moved to Steep Hollow in 1937. Together, they raised three sons and two daughters on what is now Stella Ranch. For five generations, the Cargill family has woven their lives into the very fabric of this land, creating countless memories and stories that are now the heart of this community.

Stella was known for her warmth, generosity and passion for her church, Steep Hollow Baptist. She served Steep Hollow Baptist for over 50 years as treasurer and showed her love for the congregation by cooking meals, delivering them and helping them however she could. Her spirit of kindness and hard work continued until her passing in 1993, and her legacy will live on through the families who will call Stella Ranch home. When speaking to her family members, you will quickly learn about her love for her family, her home, her community, and the land she and her husband George were both so proud of.

Today, Stella's legacy lives on in every corner of Stella Ranch. As you explore the community, you'll find street names steeped in history, like Harold Lake Drive and Betsy Lane, named after Stella and George's son and daughter-in-law. The memories of skipping rocks on the ponds, driving old Chevrolet trucks, and gathering as a family are embedded in the very soul of this land.
